Tracking Questrade dividends
Questrade lists each dividend as it posts, one account at a time. TrackQ adds them up across every account, and shows the ones that are announced but not paid yet.

If you hold dividend ETFs or stocks in a TFSA, an RRSP and a margin account, the question is usually simple: how much did I get this month, this year, and what is coming next? TrackQ answers it from your own Questrade activity.
Where the dividends show up
- Overview. Dividends over the last 12 months, year to date, and your gain plus dividends next to your all-time gain.
- Activity tab (TrackQ Pro). Income this month, year to date, over the last 12 months and the monthly average, on a chart by month. Every dividend is in the list, and reinvested dividends say so.
- Each holding (TrackQ Pro). Dividends received in the last 12 months, the yield, the amount per payment and the last ex-date.
- Widgets (TrackQ Pro). Dividends shows income by month and the total so far this year. Next dividends shows announced payments on your Home Screen or Lock Screen.
Announced dividends, before they post
Questrade’s activity lags. When a dividend has been announced for a holding you own, TrackQ shows it as pending, marked “not in Questrade activity yet”. The amount is estimated from the yield and the shares you hold, and it is drawn faded on the income chart until it is paid. When the posted entry arrives, the pending one drops out on its own.
US dollar dividends
Totals are in Canadian dollars, converted at the USD/CAD rate Questrade reports with your balances. A dividend paid in US dollars shows in Canadian dollars with the US amount alongside.
How far back it goes
The first time you connect, TrackQ loads the last 12 months of activity. From then on it keeps every entry it loads, so your history grows. You can export it as a CSV with TrackQ Pro.
Private by design
TrackQ reads your activity straight from Questrade, with a token you make in App Hub, and saves it only on your device. There is no TrackQ server and no sign-up. It is read-only: it cannot trade or move money.
