How to use it

  1. With the link: open the link above and sign up. The code is already attached.
  2. On the Questrade website: choose Open an account. When you pick an account type, select Enter code, paste 735928956498469 and apply it.
  3. In the Questrade app: choose to open an account, and enter 735928956498469 under Offer code.
  4. Finish opening and funding the account within 60 days.

The terms

From Questrade's refer-a-friend page, checked 15 October 2026:

  • $50 CAD each, for you and the person who referred you.
  • For self-directed and Questwealth Portfolios accounts.
  • New clients only: no existing Questrade account or application.
  • Open and fund the account within 60 days of starting.
  • One code per new client. It cannot be combined with other offer codes.
  • Paid the month after the account is opened.

Questrade can change or end the program at any time, so their page is the final word. If you are moving a large amount, also look at Questrade's current promotions: one of their own offer codes may be worth more, and you can only use one code.

How much is the Questrade referral bonus?

$50 CAD for you and $50 CAD for the person who referred you, once you open and fund a self-directed or Questwealth Portfolios account with the code within 60 days.

When is the $50 paid?

The month after your account is opened. It goes into your new account, or your billing account if you open more than one.

I forgot to enter the code. Can I add it later?

Only until Questrade issues your account number. Before then, contact Questrade by phone or chat and they can add it. After that it can no longer be added.

Can I use a referral code with another Questrade offer code?

No. Each new client can use one code, and a referral code cannot be combined with other offer codes. If Questrade is running a funding bonus of its own, compare the two before you start.

Who can use it?

Anyone new to Questrade: no existing Questrade account and no application in progress.

Who is behind this code

It is the personal refer-a-friend code of TrackQ's developer, a Questrade client. Using it costs you nothing and gives us both $50. TrackQ is an independent app and is not made by or affiliated with Questrade.
